Bridging the Gap Between Policy and People
The Spark (2025–2026) Voxetta Labs was born from a simple observation by our founder, Harvey Wyche, the gap between government policy and human access was widening. As Florida prepared for the landmark 2026 SNAP regulatory shifts, it became clear that traditional websites and static FAQs were no longer enough to help families navigate the new, complex work requirements and caregiver exemptions.
The Vision We saw a future where technology didn't just "process" people, but advocated for them. We set out to build an AI-native gateway named Nora to serve as a digital bridge. Our evolution is a deliberate journey from solving for immediate clarity to building a nationwide ecosystem of support.
Phase I: Knowledge & Trust (Current)
In the wake of the 2026 legislative changes, our first priority was accuracy. We deployed Nora to translate thousands of pages of dense SNAP statutes into a hyper-accurate, conversational FAQ. By providing clear answers in real-time, we began building the foundation of trust necessary to guide families through the system.
Phase II: Community Integration
We believe technology is most powerful when it’s local. We moved beyond the screen to build direct partnerships with Florida food banks and non-profits. This phase is about meeting families where they are and integrating Nora into the community organizations that serve as the front lines of food security.
Phase III: The Navigator
Trust evolved into action. We expanded Nora’s capabilities from an information source to a full-service Benefit Navigator. This conversational tool guides users through the SNAP application process from start to finish, using intelligent document processing to ensure every application is accurate before it’s even submitted.
Phase IV: The Total Support Ecosystem
Hunger doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Recognizing that families in need of SNAP often qualify for other vital services, we expanded Nora’s intelligence. Our AI now identifies eligibility for a wider ecosystem, from discounted utilities and internet to EBT-integrated retail programs at partners like Amazon and Publix.
Phase V: Data for Good
The final layer of our evolution is systemic. By utilizing anonymized, persona-based insights, Voxetta Labs identifies the hidden hurdles in the social safety net. We use this data to advocate for policy changes and predict the future needs of communities, ensuring the system evolves as fast as the people it serves.
